How long does foundation typically wear for you? Is that long enough?

How long does foundation typically wear for you? Is that long enough?

The ones I’ll wear by choice tend to last a solid eight hours before starting to show some signs of wear, but they’d be minor signs – not heavy creasing or patchiness. I’d prefer a bit closer to 10 hours, which I find I can get to if I set with powder or use a primer underneath.

How long do cheek products typically wear for you? Is that long enough?

How long do cheek products typically wear for you? Is that long enough?

Powder-based cheek products tend to last around (decently before kind of breaking down / more apparent that there’s been wear) eight hours without additional prep/priming, while liquids/creams are similar but can sometimes get closer to 10 hours depending on formula. Plenty long for me, though.

How long does eyeshadow typically wear for you? Is that long enough?

How long does eyeshadow typically wear for you? Is that long enough?

It lasts around eight hours decently – that means a bit of fading or signs of wear but not to the casual viewer. I would definitely use a primer if I planned to leave the house as I prefer better wear overall.

Do you prefer translucent or colored eyeshadow primers/bases?

Do you prefer translucent or colored eyeshadow primers/bases?

I prefer translucent because most of the eyeshadows I reach for are pigmented enough that I don’t need a colored primer to boost, and I definitely find translucent primers easier to build on top of than colored bases, which are often thicker.
