ColourPop Pressed Powder Shadow is an eyeshadow that retails for $4.50 and contains 0.05 oz. ($90.00 per ounce). There are 2851 shades in our database.

Editor's Review

The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.

The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

Claims / Ingredients

Highly pigmented shadow that applies evenly and feels ultra-velvety and silky. This long wearing formula contains a unique combination of softer powders which adheres easily to the eyes, gives a soft focus effect, and blends smoothly and evenly.

I love colors like this for green eyes, but they probably work as an easy everyday color for all eye colors. Great smooth formula, leans slightly warm pink on me, which I love. More of a shimmer than a metallic, also OK by me. When I want a similar color with more sparkle, I have In Axis from this brand. This came in a cheap plastic clear case, fine since it would travel well or fit into an empty palette I will eventually buy. Oh, and this color in a glitter is Tequila Sunrise, sparkles so big they can fall off your lid, so I use that carefully.

I was so excited to give this color a try until I received the palette and noticed it had the "not intended for use around the eye" warning. I'm used to seeing that with glitters, and I can't stand that ColourPop keeps adding them to palettes, but I wasn't expecting it in a pigment. There are lots of warning labels on products that I tend to think are over-the-top, but I'm not going to take risks when it comes to my eyes. Guess I'll be looking for a dupe and returning this palette.

I am quite torn. I love this shade. It might've been an easy everyday-duochrome-all-over, but this $ burned my eyes. I am also finding that my lids do not seem too eager with CP formulas; I don't know why.

This is my favourite eyeshadow. It feels really soft, and it's highly pigmented! It really stands out and catches the light in the way that really makes it look silvery. It's great for the entire lid, for just the inner corner, or along the lower lash line.

The shade Flowerboy performs beautifully and its a favorite crease shade or one-shadow look shade for me. I've added to a BYOP of Sydney Grace and ColourPop shadows that was originally to dupe the now-discontinued ABH Sultry palette, and it's a near-perfect dupe for the shade Bloom in the ABH.

I love ColourPop Shadows. I find that the quality matches - and even out-performs - my higher-end shadows. This is my go-to eye-makeup brand, and I love that they are American made and cruelty-free at a great price point. Team Captain is a matte olive green, that skews a little yellow. This shade does perform well, but is a little more difficult to blend than some other CP shades. I've added to a BYOP of Sydney Grace and ColourPop shadows that was originally to dupe the now-discontinued ABH Sultry palette, and it's a really beautiful addition to that color story.

This color was a big surprise for me. I expected standart light warm brown (I own several of colourpop palletes and almost every pallete has that shade) but on me it looks more cooltoned and almost green. I like it but it can be muddy. If it is the case for you just pair it with the royal jewels.

One of my favorite things about this shade is how well it plays with others. Other than being easy to blend, it also looks well with a variety of other colours, whether warmer or cooler. As a result, it's one of the shades I use more often.

Beautiful peachy gold duochrome. Probably my favorite ColourPop shadow ever created. Buttery and pigmented with no fallout.

It's so light blue, that I didn't expect it to read as blue on the lid but I was wrong! It's a stunning, soft, easy-to-build baby blue that really popped on my lids. I was surprised by how pigmented it was, and it only took a few swipes to build a solid color.

Loved how easily this applied, but holy cannoli did it MOVE! It's slipped all around my lid and transferred in my crease like crazy. I have hooded lids so a little transfer is pretty common as my day goes, but this basically stamped silver all over my lid. I'll have to use pretty sparingly to avoid a repeat.

This is a beautiful color that blends out wonderfully on the skin and on top of a primer. It's fantastic for being really striking, sheered out to warm up a look, or on its own. It has a lot of powdery kickback like most CP shadows, but that doesn't bother me. On the face, it's just so, so beautiful and has a lot of depth.

My go-to highlight and topper. Perfect, easy, smooth application with a bright sheen that lasts. It's a creamy very light gold. A+ in all respects.

This is a very pretty, but cantankerous, shade. Lots of fallout on application, needs to be patted on carefully, and doesn't wear very well. Too bad, because the color is gorgeous.

Looks amazing as a single color all over the lid. Complex, deep pinky-wine sort of shade with lots of shimmer. Lasts well on my oily lids. Great for an easy "dramatic but human" look.

This looks spectacular when applied on the lid, with a dark brown base and brilliant blue sparkle. Unfortunately it wore very poorly on my oily lids, and all the blue migrated to creases within a few hours. It looked like a hot mess in very short order.

The shade is pretty unique. But that doesn't change the fact that the product is too dense for my liking and hard to pick up with a brush. I exclusively use my fingers and somehow this product has developed a hard pan.

My favourite eyeshadow from Colour Pop! Glass Bull is a gorgeous unique shade that can be used on its own or to transform other shades! Semi-sheer duochrome that looks gorgeous layered over other eyeshadows, or just sheered out on the lid! Side note - in swatches it looks more blue-toned (and cooler) than in the pan.

I'd call this a neutral duochrome in the sense that you can wear it for an everyday look. It's really pretty and I like it a lot, though I do wish that the shift was stronger.

While the color itself is nothing special in my opinion, the finish is very metallic and almost-wet looking. Lots of pigment, smooth.

A stunning duochrome shadow with good pigmentation. If you're a fan of green shadows, it's a must. I also like how I can use it in neutral eye looks for a pop of color.

The perfect cool toned mauve for my fair skin. Good pigmentation, not too powdery.
