Editor's Review
FYI: We collaborated with Sydney Grace to release a collection!

The shimmer eyeshadows are more consistent in pigmentation with the majority of shades having opaque color coverage. The more metallic/sparkly the shade is, the creamier and more emollient the eyeshadow felt in the pan, which often yielded really smooth application and good adherence to the lid, though a few worked better with a fingertip or a dampened brush for true-to-pan color or to get a truer finish/sheen.

Most shades, however, worked well with brushes, and I didn't have trouble applying or blending out most of the shimmer shades. The more satin to pearl like finishes tend to feel a little thinner but blend out well. These shades wore between eight and nine hours on me with some of the more foiled-like shades creasing noticeably at the end (and the less foiled-like ones fading).

I adore Sydney Grace shadows and was so excited when I found Gold Earth. The one and done olive is been looking for in a pigmented, easy to work with, long-lasting, reliable formula I know well. The color is beautiful and it applies easily. Sadly, it’s the o ly shadow on my s collection that fades and creases on me. Within two hours of wear - even with primer - the shadow fades away or balled up on the folds of me eyes… what am I doing wrong?

Sydney Grace's "Abigail Light" is the PERFECT shade of red plum purple for green to hazel eyes imaginable! It's just gorgeous!! This shadow is a close sister to Sephora's chubby eye liner thick pencil that I have come across and I absolutely love both of them. I pray Sydney Grace will make this as a single so I can purchase it that way. It is only available in the set right now. OMG! I love this shade! This is my go to shade every day. I can't get enough of it! <3. <3

Gorgeous metallic champagne. It behaves as I want it to behave, where that's blended and sheer, or concentrated and shiny. If I had to pick one shade from the coffee talk palette, it would be this one.

Incredible pigmentation, so easy to work with, and just a gorgeous lid color. It’s not too green, where it can’t be a neutral eye look when you wear it.

Slight fallout with application when applied with my finger, but it's manageable, and there wasn't noticeable additional fallout throughout the day. Overall the fallout doesn't stop me from using it but it does make me think twice about whether I want to deal with it, if that makes sense.

This shade took a little more product to get to the full depth of sheen and color for me (compared to Tiara and Paris), which I assumed was due to the darker color. I'm by no means greatly skilled at eyeshadow application but this red-brown burgundy with a wine color sheen looked very nice anyway. Vamped is a perfect name for this moody, dramatic shade. Diffused out to a strongly red-brown color that had a bruise-like appearance on my very fair skin the more I diffused. I actually really liked it and think it would be great for costume makeup bruise effects that are more stylized than realistic.

I love this shade in theory, but in practice, it broke my heart. It was on my eyes over primer for 8 hours (in a look I rather loved) and when I got home and looked in the mirror, the creasing was so bad that there were bald stripes on both my lids!! Who KNOWS how long they had been like that!! Needless to say, I was heartbroken over it.

Hot Stuff is a stunning bronze/copper shimmer shade. It applies fully with a finger or a dry brush - you can use a wet brush if you want just a little more sparkle out of it, but you really don't need to. No fall out at all with this shade.

Sydney Grace shadows are some of the most beautiful and high performing I have ever used. And I love that they are a smaller, indie brand, making product in the U.S. and remaining cruelty-free. I will absolutely keep purchasing from them. Blondie is a great champagne, slightly rosy shimmer shade. It applies with full opacity with a finger or brush, and I have not had any fallout with this shade.

Pear Tree is a stunning vibrant olive green shimmer shade, that is fully opaque in one swipe with a finger or brush. You can use a wet brush for more impact, but you don't really need to.

This is one of my favourite eyeshadows and I think the most unique one that I own. It is a shimmery pink duochrome shadow with a green flip. It sounds intense, but is actually quite soft, subtle and wearable. It can be used as a soft innercorner highlight, but I prefer to wear it over the entire lid. I usually apply it with my fingers, over a base, and it lasts through my entire workday (8 hours usually).
