Bronzers | 2022 Editor's Favorites
In 2022, I reviewed just over 75 different bronzers from a myriad of brands and price points. Haus Labs Power Sculpt Velvet Bronzer was one of my favorite new formulas–it had such a beautiful, seamless finish on skin. While it doesn’t look like it rated well at a surface-level, L’Oreal Infallibe 24H Fresh Wear Soft Matte Bronzer is actually quite good if it weren’t for that silly 24-hour wear time claim!

If you’re unfamiliar with how I like to do my year-end favorites, here’s the low down: I pull from the products I reviewed in 2022, regardless of whether they were new, limited edition, or an established range I’ve only just gotten around to reviewing. Slightly luminous
Favorite bronzer you purchased or rediscovered in 2022? The Hourglass Tiger Face palette Ambient Lighting Powder Transcendent Light makes the most perfect, and very natural looking bronzer on my medium olive skin! And it’s a gorgeous finishing powder for those deep or rich skintones. Hourglass FINALLY got the message!
Did you finish any bronzers in 2022? Since I can hardly get enough on my brush anymore, I think that my much loved and used to near completion UD Jawbone has had its end. I mean, I suppose I could break it up, put it in a jar, and use those edges, right?
What finish did you prefer for bronzer in 2022? Skin finish/natural looking matte.
I can’t get over fragrance in makeup…otherwise, I’d be all over that Nars cream bronzer as well as the L’Oreal one’s.
