Overall quality seems to have gone down so badly that it’s been a long while since I’ve been seriously tempted by an e/s palette that’s “within my grasp” (i.e. available in a store near me!). Probably the last one was a LORAC palette (Forest? Noir?) but those are not available here “in store” so I didn’t get it. I think the last one I actually bought was the Charlotte Tilbury quad in “The Rock Chick” (after caving and getting The Rebel, based on the high praise from Genevieve). And that’s going back a few years…

Actually, now that I stop to think about it and reading other replies, I too was tempted by Natasha Denona’s I Need a Nude until I saw your more realistic photos of the shadows (in her typical way, ND has passed off as “cool” shadows that really aren’t all that cool toned). Still, money saved!

Within the period of time that I have been back with makeup, there have not been a lot of palette releases that have really caught my eye. I am definitely leaning towards more smaller palettes such as the Chanel quads and the Dior quints, although apparently the quality of the Dior quints has gone down? I have been seriously considering one of the new quads from Chanel but each of the four releases has at least one shade that I would never use so still on the fence. The Parure Crystal is probably my favorite. I have also been eyeing a two pan Chantecaille palette called Grand Canal. There is also a two pan called San Marco which is pretty. Even on the secondary market they are in the $50-60 range, but I guess for Chantecaille that is reasonable. I can’t quite justify it for two shades, though!!

The Love’s Journey palette from Sydney Grace did tempt me, but it’s just too much product/physically too big. ND I Need a Nude continues to tempt…even though I can get similar looks from eyeshadows I already own.

I just need to shop my stash more…I have sooooo many eyeshadows that I will never use them all up.

Danessa Myricks Groundworks. Not sure if that counts totally. I’ve been into 1 & done type of products lately so that 1 has my attention. But straight-up eyeshadow, bc I’ve been on a Viseart kick & was crushing on the Cool Mattes palette forever so when it recently went on sale I snagged it & have not been able to put it down since.

There are two eye palettes that I have my beady eye on – one is new – the ND’s I Need a Nude palette, which I think will perfectly complement the Glam palette.
The second one I am coveting is not a new one, but PMG’s Bronze Borealis quad – because I am in love with Pat’s bronze shades.

Natasha Denona I Need a Nude… which I am asking for xmas for.
Lately I have been gravitating towards singles and the kaja trios and the ND Glam Face and Eye, but that palette looks incredible.

ABH Fall Romance! I plan to pounce on it sometime this fall, but I’m not in a rush, especially with it being 97 degrees today. I ordered Colourpop Disney’s Haunted Mansion because, well, it’s Haunted Mansion. Lots of ashy grays, but I look good in cool tones so I will see how it works. I was thinking about ND I Need a Nude until I saw the swatches and discovered it’s not cool-toned at all! And so light overall I’d personally do better with ND Glam if I were looking for a neutral color story.

The ND I need a nude and Mini Starlette palettes tempted me based on the promo photos but not anymore after seeing real life swatches. Therefore the only palette I was tempted by based on what the palette really looks like is the Suqqu Autumn 2023 palette 128 Kousa, but I really do not need another eyeshadow palette and this isn’t one I would throw my no-buy out of the window for.
