Maybe MAC’s Lovers Only lipstick because it’s a nice colour and it’s Amplified Cream (my fave of their lipstick formulas). It’s not nearly as good as Craving because it does bleed outside my lip line so if I’m feeling particular, I will use an invisible lip liner with it. I just wish they’d bring back Craving – I’d buy half a dozen right away.

SAME re: the Dior liquid dealios. I’m still in love with the old YSL GLossy Stains, so anything that’s vaguely in that same genre is a big yes — but not with tetchy packaging. Whatever lipstick I’m wearing gets thrown in my purse for day and noooooope. There’s a bunch (pretty good colors, GLORIOUS packaging) from Florasis and Zeesea that I’m itching to try, but the next splurge (as soon as our gulf south weather cools down enough that I don’t worry about the stupid thing melting into gloop during transit) is deffo a Dries Van Noten. Those refillable cases! And I’ll probably order a few Carolina Hererra refills before they invariably get discontinued.

I love Lisa Eldridge lipsticks…They are fantastic….She had three formulations and just came out with a fourth, liquid matte which is excellent…..Blush and Blush Lightly are both my favorites in the regular lipsticks but tried Muse in the new liquid one and really like it.

It haven’t tried anything from the brand and at $75 a pop, I likely won’t but there are two Hermes lipsticks that I would love to try. The first and most coveted is Rose Velours #78 and then a close second is Rose Boise.
I also love the look of the House of Silage cases and lipsticks but they are even more outrageous. It must be nice to have so much money that you can spend $350 on just the case for a lipstick. I went and looked because of their Disney Collection and since my daughter and I are both huge Disneyland fans. I mean, I grew up about 40 miles from Disneyland and back in the day, you could get in for just the price of admission and then you could just buy tickets for the rides you wanted to go on. The rides were lettered A for the cheapest rides up to E for the most expensive ride. It is where the expression, “Better than an E ride” came from. Entrance when I first started going there was less than a dollar and I think went up to like $10 before I moved away. We would go on the drop of a hat. So, I thought for Christmas I would get her a piece of the Disney collection. Well, that is not happening! In fact, she is at Disneyland now with a group of 6 friends. Wish I was there!

The Dior liquid lipsticks that you recently reviewed definitely piqued my interested! I am also tempted by the Dior lip maximizers. Unlike the liquid lipsticks, I know I would get a lot of use out of the lip maximizers because I used up a travel size miniature I got for free. The Dior SA also used their lip oil on me and I am a little tempted by that, too, but I’m not sure I am a lip oil person – I’ve never owned one. If anyone here has experience with both and can tell me which one leaves lips more hydrated after use, the lip maximizer or the lip oil, I would appreciate the insight 🙂

Oh my goodness, I just saw an ad for Florasis lippies, and they are just so beautiful. The colors are stunning, and the artwork engraved on the lipstick is nothing short of gorgeous. The price point is a little too high for my taste, so I’ll just admire them from afar.

Hi Lisa
Go on Amazon and search Catkin Matte Lipsticks. They have the same gorgeous engravings and beautiful colors as Florasis, for only $10! I bought several and I’m VERY happy with them. Just thought you’d like to know. Take care>

The Dior Lip Glow Oil in Rosewood. I was soooo excited to get it, but couldn’t get past the smell! To me, it smelled like whiskey and I couldn’t risk getting a migraine from it. The smell was also VERY strong. And not one review mentioned the scent, at least the ones I came across.
