Laura Mercier Rouge Eclatant Rouge Essentiel Silky Crème Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a rich, coral-red with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had nearly opaque color payoff in a single stroke, which applied fairly evenly, but there was slight streaking visible along the outer perimeter of my lips that didn't smooth out like it did for most shades in the range.
The texture was lightly creamy, smooth, and seemed marginally more emollient than the average shade within the formula. The color stayed on nicely for five hours and felt lightly moisturizing while worn.
