Chanel Parure Venitienne (318) Les 4 Ombres Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow ($70.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a new, limited edition quad that contained four shimmery shades (ranging from satin to sparkle in intensity) in hues of warm gold, soft coral, mid-tone brown, and pale, flashy white. The texture of the formula was noteworthy: very finely-milled, smooth, and a touch emollient, which made the eyeshadows sit particularly well on skin.

This is the first palette that’s interested me in quite awhile. The #2/soft coral is particularly lovely. I’ll have to research the dupes and give this some real thinking.
Oh no, this one scored so well also. My decision making is getting harder and harder! I might as well accept that all four are going to be nice, close my eyes and stab a page. I think I am leaning towards the Cristal but Baroque is still in contention. I can’t wait to go somewhere that I can see them in person. I might have to actually make a special trip to the big city. I wish we had nice makeup counter in Missoula as opposed to Spokane. Missoula is just a hair closer but the drive is so much nicer. The only store there is Dillards but it is small and so the makeup counter only carries Estee Lauder, Lancome and Clinique with a few Elizabeth Arden lipsticks so Spokane it has to be!
I also really like this charming quad – it’s lovely to see a brand experiment with different finishes and show how beautiful eyeshadows can be when done in a pearl, frost and satiny finish.
I purchased this for myself for my 60th birthday. I wore it for the first time today and it will not be the last time. I created a really pretty look and the shadows performed perfectly. I was truly surprised that the sparkly shade had little to no fall out when applied as a topper. Today I used all the shades, but tomorrow I’m going to try it with just the deep brown shade and the sparkly shade. I think there’s a few looks that could come out of this little quad.
Again, it’s shade #3 that appeals most but which is easily duped. I do have to say, though, that the fact that you’re not showing any eye looks with these quads makes it a WHOLE lot easier for me to resist them.
This one looks to be a beauty like Cristal. Sadly, both are sold out everywhere. I had truly wanted to get Cristal, but unless Chanel makes more of these there’s zero chance.
