We’re focusing on promoting Temptalia’s new Color Story tool, where you can create and share your own color combinations (for a makeup look, whether that’s a full face of makeup or just an eye look), custom palettes (like your go-travel eyeshadow palette), or even a collection of products (like your favorite coral lipsticks). Bonus entries for trying out and using the “shareable image” feature and posting to your Instagram. ?

Definitely a useful tool, especially for those of us who may feel overwhelmed by our stashes. Gets one to thinking how to better utilize our palettes and lone single shades in order to get the most out of what we already have. An added plus is that it may even help others to see new combos they’d not thought of before!

$100 … Not sure if I would want to splurge on one fancy item or try to make it stretch and get a few less expensive but quality items? Either way, I could definitely use some makeup money! I love the Color Story tool, but haven’t played with it enough. Hopefully I can test it out this weekend and lots of other people will have added new stories that I can admire!

I really like the Color Story tool because it helps me plan out my looks for the week. I’m doing a project pan this year & it’s encouraging me to really sort through my collection. Creating my own color story is fun, but it’s also cool to look at other users’ stories for some fresh inspiration.

FWIW, even though you didn’t ask, I love the Vanity feature. It took me some time to input into it and now I feel like it helps me save quite a bit of money because I can see if I’ve got a close dupe. It’s a super useful tool.

I love the idea of being able to create your own palettes with what you have! I’m usually more inclined to buy single shades rather than collections/palettes but it can be hard to make looks that really work that way.

I love how you are always looking to create innovations for the blog. In all the years since I have been a follower (over a decade now), it’s amazing to see all the changes you have made to it. The color story tool will be heavily used by me, especially since I tend be overwhelmed when looking at certain palettes. The color stories in them are often variations of tones that can look similar on the eye, if you’re not careful. The color story tool will definitely help me with adding dimension to looks. I think I’d use a gift card to restock my Guerlain foundation.
