VR Fire Opal is a bright, medium gold base with green-to-teal shifting sparkle and pearl. It had a metallic sheen that was very shiny and wet-looking on my lid. It applied evenly and smoothly regardless of whether I used it with a dry or dampened brush. The pigmentation was nearly opaque in a single layer and buildable to full coverage with less than half of a layer on top. The eyeshadow was easy to blend out without fear of fallout. This shade stayed on nicely nine and a half hours on me before creasing faintly.
