Fenty Beauty Shadowstix Eyeshadow Pencil Swatches
Fenty Beauty Shadowstix Eyeshadow Pencil ($25.00 for 0.056 oz.) is a new range of matte and metallic twist-up eyeshadow pencils. Each finish has eight shades, and they seem to be deliberately designed to be more “neutral” in tone so there aren’t any pops of color. I’m curious if those will be added as limited edition launches in the future. Here are swatches of all 16!
The ochre overtone of Tira’miss You is interesting…but I wonder how much of that orange at the edges comes through when it’s blended/worn sheerly.
I swatched a few of these at work and they seem nice, but every brand is coming out with stick eyeshadows now. Sephora Collection’s have been redone in twist up packaging as well, and the quality is about the same tbh. I miss the days when Riri gave us color, but it seems like more and more the brand is just focused on what sells (which I can’t blame them for!)
At least one shade, Get on Taupe, turned out to be cool toned.
These look *amazingly* pigmented. I eagerly await your review, if you are going to be able to get to these!
Well, I can’t say I am mind blown by the selection! Hopefully, if the formula turns out to be nice and long lasting, they will give us some pops of color. There is nary a cool toned shade in the bunch. Get on Taupe is my favorite of these but not something I would rush out and buy, especially not without reviews.
Get on Taupe is my favourite as well. It’s the only one I might consider buying. It’s also the only cool toned one as Cara also said.
I’m quite lucky to have a neutral-ish skin tone, I leaned the hard way as I always imagined it was warm. I finally got it when visiting a Bobbie Brown counter. Of course MAC had always managed to get it right, but oh how many foundations I’ve had and tossed as they made me look so off. Anyway, I can easily use warm tones when it comes to eyeshadows and lipsticks, but not too warm and I do gravitate to cooler tones.
These at least look promising compared to the other ones by Merit! If they review well, then I will likely pick up a few.
When I saw these last week I wasn’t too impressed with the color range, but now that you’ve swatched them, I see a few tempting shades.
Oh Wow! These look so, so good – smooth, pigmented and equal number of shimmery vs matte shades. Beautiful mix of dependable shades too – love U Ain’t Reddy, Candy Rapper and probably more.
Some interesting colors but mostly a pass for me.
