What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?
• EYES: MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre as primer; Urban Decay Naked3 Mini palette (Laced Up in crease, Right Time on lid, Spiced to line outer third of upper lid); MAC Blanc Type on brow bone; Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in Amethyst on outer third of lower lash line; CoverGirl Clump Crusher Waterproof Mascara; and a combination of Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil and Precisely My Brow, both in Grey.
• FACE: Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup in Sand, Lancome Effacernes Waterproof Concealer in Light Buff, MAC Blot Powder, Clinique Cheek Pop in Peach Pop
• LIPS: I did this eye look a couple times this week: First with Milani Color Fetish in Tease, then with MAC Yash. Both were great.
What was the hero product of the week for you? Milani Color Fetish lipstick because it’s such a good product at such a low price.
Any products you want to use next week? Tartelette eye palette, some of my non-Clinique blushes because I’ve been using my Cheek Pops almost exclusively (because they’re the best!).

HD Powder in Sheer; Flower Crown HL from the Tarte Love, Trust & Fairy Dust Eye & Cheek Palette; Sephora Tranquil as contour (DC, now Second Chance); L.A. Girl PRO Setting Spray.
🏕️What was the hero product of the week for you?:
*Tarte Love, Trust & Fairy Dust Eye & Cheek Palette. Compact enough to take camping, big mirror, enough shadow variety for a four-day trip, and a great highlighter.
*KVD Beauty Everlasting Blush in Rosebud. The only blush I used this week, both at home and camping. It’s a great everyday matte mauve shade. It went perfectly with the Tarte palette I took and traveled without breaking.
🏕️Any products you want to use next week?:
I’m dying to try out the Melt Muerte Palette, now that I have it. It will depend on how hot it is here, though.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: My favourite look this week was on Friday night when I went out for dinner – I used the PMG Sublime Mini in the eye look – Gold Nectar on the whole lid, with Sinful on the lower lid. I wanted to use Corruption (the medium dark plum shade), but it didn’t show up on my eyes. So I resorted to using the same colour from my Maybelline’s Burgundy Bar palette and it worked beautifully. I paired it with MAC’s Fresh Moroccan lipstick.
What was the hero product of the week for you?: Maybelline’s Burgundy Bar and Nude by Nature’s Claret lipstick.
Any products you want to use next week?: More of my autumn neutral palettes I think.
Your skin tone/coloring: pale, cool
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: I’m really trying to use products I’ve ignored for far too long so: from the Stila Eyes are the Window palette Spirit palette: Oasis on the whole mobile lid; Puppy in the crease and a bit of Golightly on the outer lid, Sephora Cappuccino to line ; on my cheeks, the blush from the massive IT Cosmetics Live, Love, Laugh Vitality Face Disc; lips, as always, either MAC Craving or my new Smashbox Stylist lipstick. Concealer – the Clarins one in the squeezy tube (I’ve cut the crimp off the tube and there’s a good year’s worth of product still inside – I just reseal with a binder clip; I have a back up but they’ve discontinued this product and replaced with a dry, awful concealer so I want to use every last trace of this lovely concealer) and I set it with Hourglass Ethereal Ambient Light powder (much as I hate Hourglass, I love that powder).

What was the hero product of the week for you?: Possibly that Stila Spirit palette – it contains so many of their iconic shades from the past, shades I really love.
Any products you want to use next week?: Christine’s Temptalia On the Horizon (Deep) palette. I played with it a few nights ago before washing my face for bed and really enjoyed some of the colours so much. I do want to use Midnight Courage with several of the lighter shades (especially Phoenix Awakens and Magellan’s Light) and want to try the 2 pinker shimmer shades “just because”. I also want to use some of my GOSH pencil liners before they become so dried out as to be unusable.
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green eyes, warm brown hair.

What was the hero product of the week for you?: I don’t really have hero products.
Any products you want to use next week?: Some of my smaller palettes/quads. I used my Sugarpill Fun Size Too palette today and that was fun. I crave jewel tones at the moment.
