Best Products of the Week | Vol. 362
Happy weekend! While I’m sharing the top-rated products I published reviews for over the past week, I’d love to hear about your own “week-in-review.” I love reading–and I know others enjoy sharing!–their own “week in review” when it comes to what makeup/beauty products they may have used and/or enjoyed.
What was your week in review like? Copy and paste the lil’ survey below and share your answers in the comments 🙂

Your skin tone/coloring: Light neutral, leaning warm. Hazel eyes, and I used to have light brown hair with blonde highlights but I’m shocked by how gray i am around the temples these days.
Favorite makeup look this week: I paired MAC’s Fleur Power blush with MAC My Little Secret lipcolor and I’m blown away by how much I like them together. They’re both pink, with a warm coral tinge and the blush in particular emulates the “cold girl” look that is popular right now.
Hero product of the week: Unseen sunscreen over any moisturizer — my skin has been cranky with all the cold, and layering protection is the only thing that helps keep it from getting raw.
Products for next week: I want to use some of the spring-y blushes that I got in my makeup swap, so I’m looking for things that will go with light pink and coral. I’m thinking MAC Skew lipstick and the Urban Decay Wild Greens palette will get some use this week.
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green eyes, warm brown hair.
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: I did a lot of fun looks this week, but I think my favorite was a look I did for work using ND My Dream and Clionadh Solder. It was so beautiful. Here’s the link if you want to check it out! https://www.instagram.com/p/CnhReqbLuMp/?igshid=MDM4ZDc5MmU=
What was the hero product of the week for you?: I think the Glamlite Barbie palette. I used it a lot this week.
Any products you want to use next week?: more Glamlite Barbie palette. I really love it! Also my Kaleidos Escape Pod palette too.
The Glamlite Barbie palette’s colour story really suits you, although I think we are all ‘over’ Barbie!
Clionadh’s Solder shade is stunning and I love your new hair colour too – it really suits you.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: I did one of your colourful eye looks this week Christine and I was so happy with the result. I used Fresh Stem from Smashbox’s Petal Metal on the upper eyelid, with Sinful from PMG on the lower eyelid, Rose Rocked from Smashbox in the crease and a touch of Underworld from Decadence as an eyeliner next to my lashlne. I paired it with Flower Beauty’s Chestnut Red lipstick.
What was the hero product of the week for you?: Still sunscreen and Flower Beauty’s Chestnut Red lipstick.
Any products you want to use next week?: Just using a random assortment of my eyeshadow palettes.
Your skin tone/coloring: pale, cool
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: Tarte’s Sinful eyeshadow has been my new love. I’ve worn it daily on my outer lid and buffed out into my outer corner, with either Gleam or Vermeer from ABH in the inner corner with Sephora Cappuccino to line upper and lower lids. I’m looking pretty pale and pasty so I’ve been slapping on a bit of powder foundation and IT concealer topped with Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder to set the foundation. MAC Sweet Sentiment on cheeks and brushed lightly around my hairline/above my brows (like I said, I’m looking pale and pasty) and, of course, MAC Craving on my lips.
What was the hero product of the week for you?: Webber Vitamin E Cream on my surgical scar; Egyptian Magic Cream on my face at night.
Any products you want to use next week?: I want to use some of my old favourite MAC Shadows – shades like Coquette, Sweet Satisfaction, Charcoal Brown. They’ve been ignored for far too long!
