I’m happy to see the brand doing more mini palettes, but I’d love for them to make the midi palette the regular format and put their past larger palettes into that size. I’d also like to see more diversity in shade depth/range for products like blush, bronzer, and highlighter.

I still enjoy the reformulated Vice lipsticks, and I use the 24/7 eyeliners regularly, but a lot of their new, limited edition releases have been missing for me.

MAC

They seem like they’ve backed off collections almost TOO much! I miss some of the creativity they showed through limited edition collections, but overall, I like the direction they’ve been going in. They still make amazing core products!

I remain impressed by their ability to be pretty consistent in quality over so many launches, and they are still at a more affordable price point, so it is a good way to try out trends without breaking the bank. I do think they could slow down the releases to something every other week instead of every week, though! I’d also love to see them have a more established core range.

Loose Setting Powders

I find I prefer loose over pressed, though I definitely use both interchangeably, but I feel like I get a better set and more control over pick-up with loose. I love the effect they can have to soften and smooth out skin.

I rarely use them, but I feel like in a world where I left the house more, they’d be something I’d reach for more often as a quick way to throw on a bit of coverage without faffing about too much.

Matte Blush

I don’t mind it, but I find I reach for something that’s more satin-like at the lowest shimmer level because they’re always easier to blend out for me and seem more forgiving on top of foundation.

Green Eyeshadow

I love green eyeshadow in all forms! Warm, cool, light, dark, matte, shimmer… Nothing to dislike… except there aren’t enough of them by mainstream brands!

They can be quite powdery and prone to sheering out, so they are not always foolproof to work with, and the end effect can be different from what I visualize.

Cream-to-Powder Eyeshadows

I like them! They’re fun to use, and they can be longer-wearing than full-on cream eyeshadows while also being easier to apply as higher-coverage products, since they tend to blend better along the edges.
