We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

You mean “in addition to more backups of MAC Craving”? Probably MAC Modern Pewter e/s and also Kevyn Aucoin Rose Cliff or Pink Sand cheek palettes when I saw them deeply discounted at Winners. I did get Grapevine as it seemed the best shade overall for me but now I sort of regret not getting the other 2 (or at least Rose Cliff).

Mariella, I just recently purchased the Kevin Aucoin blush in Rose Cliff from a secondary seller, namely Mercari. I got it brand new, never even swatched for $19. I don’t know if you have ever purchased from secondary markets but if you do then you might try searching for it. I also saw it on Poshmark for a little more. It is a beauty. I bought it as it was a dupe for the Chanel that I wanted and now I will have both. I would also love to get my hands on the Lethal Cosmetics blush that was also a dupe but it was a collaboration with the YouTuber Theresa Is Dead and won’t be coming back so won’t find that one unless someone decides to sell theirs on a secondary market. I was leery of buying from a secondary market but have been very pleasantly surprised by the products I have purchased and how well the sellers describe the product. Each time, my product has been exactly as described and pictured on the site. Just a suggestion if you wanted it!

For a few years it was Urban Decay’s Rebel, but then I bought it secondhand from someone on Poshmark. I guess I still pine for MAC’s VG Rihanna II, and I don’t even want to know how much that’s going for…I could probably mix up something similar, but it’s not the same as having the special tube of lipstick lol.
I guess I also regret never getting around to trying certain items from brands that have gone under, like Marc Jacobs’s eyeliners and blushes.

Off the top of my head, I can’t really think of anything. Of course I was away from makeup for quite awhile and I am sure there were a lot of makeup items released that I would have regretted not purchasing had I known about them. Since returning to makeup I have really only coveted one product and that was the Chanel blush/illuminator but since I purchased that I can’t really regret it. I was thinking I may have made a huge mistake as I purchased it off of Ebay and knew it was coming from Japan but I had no communication from the seller or from Ebay and until yesterday it hadn’t shipped. I had sent a couple of messages to the seller and no response. Ebay will not open a claim until 30 days have gone by so I was really just awaiting the deadline and watching the other blushes which were being offered in the $130-$165 range. I decided to have google translate my message into Japanese and send it to seller and he responded yesterday and gave me the tracking information and apologized for not getting back to me directly but had a death in the family. So it is winging its way towards me.
There are also a couple of Bite lipstick’s that I wish I had purchased back ups of. Of course, they might have gone off by now anyway but I store my backups in the fridge to help prolong their life. I don’t have a ton there now as I have opened a few of them having gotten rid of the originals. Thankfully, one of my favorites, UD Catfight is in good shape.

As soon as I hit the post comment button it came to me and I can’t believe I forgot as I spent several days on the internet trying to track it down to no avail, but I really would love to find the Florasis Impression of Dai Forest Aura Eyeshadow palette. My other two palettes that I have from them are really lovely and work so much better than I had anticipated. They are not intending to restock the palette and yes, I did contact them directly. They have a new collection dropping and told me I would be very pleased when it did so fingers crossed I like it and it maybe has a similar green to the one in the Forest Aura palette.

It took me until 80 years of age to find my absolutely perfect lipstick, MAC Candy Yum Yum. I bought several backups at their sale only to be told “out of stock” a few days later. I check daily and it has been several weeks – does anyone know if it will be available again? I’ve actually purchased many Temptalia dupes (although most are not available) and I’ve found nothing to compare.

I’m not sure. So I probably haven’t any regrets. I know there are some Chanel quads and lipsticks I would have loved to have.
Oh, now I know, but I couldn’t buy is as they didn’t ship internationally then, Bite Kale lipstick. I think I’ll always regret not being able to buy it. I think it’s the one green lipstick I could have looked good in, as it was so dark and the finish was awesome.

The Chanel Tendresse palette. I wanted it for months and when I finally decided to spend the money, it was sold out everywhere. I know I would have used it everyday. It’s a perfect format for how I use makeup now – blush as eyeshadow, bronzer on eyes or lips, eyeshadow as highlighter, etc. Nothing goes where it’s “supposed” to LOL

Honestly…there’s always new releases and new brands and new formula’s that even if there was something “oh I wish I had…” after a little while it disappears. Mainly because I had the ever sought after ABH x Mario palette everyone wanted and barely touched it because of my large collection. And I realize I have so much make-up for a non-artist/professional that even stuff I’m excited for eventually gets lost in it. I am SLOWLY trying to taper down my collection…giving stuff to friends/family when they visit, but I still buy things lol.

I regret not buying so many Marc Jacobs Beauty products. I really hadn’t thought that they would close the brand. Especially wish to buy eye palettes – cherrific and the big one, but brushes and blushes as well… Good that their bronzers and highlighters are so big, I believe I won’t finish it any time soon
