The formula is supposed to have "amazing pigmentation and easy blendability" that won't crease or fade. The pigmentation varied from shade to shade as some were intentionally designed with translucent bases, so those were often sheerer initially and tended to use larger, more sparkly particles.
In general, the multichrome shifts were weaker and less apparent as many shades were pearl-like in their sheen, rather than ultra-shiny or intensely metallic as is more typical of multichrome eyeshadow releases. Most shades had semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation with fairly blendable formulas that weren't too powdery or too firmly-pressed into their pans, though they were sometimes a little too emollient or too thin. They wore around eight hours on average.
