Thanks! As a redhead, I’m skeptical because I’ve had a burgandy purpleish eyeshadow before (listed as 100 Strokes here but as French Cuff in your color story link) and it just clashed with my hair so badly. All the reddish colors competed and was terrible. I have dark red hair, so maybe it’ll work better on lighter redheads. The other two shadows are pretty…but I already have so many things that look like them!

Red Devil l/g looks awesome.

“Live and Dye” suggests MAC knows my redhead secret. 😉

redhead here too – more strawberry blonde, and cooler undertones (very fair). I think Red Devil l/g will work great, but don’t think the msf, e/s, l/s will work for me. I might find something better in the brunette & blonde selections.

The redhead model looks like she could tan – which is probably not the majority of redheads w/ their likely-to-burn factor being high!

I’m a brunette and I’m getting things from redhead/brunette (blonde collection doesn’t do much for me)…this is a great collection I think regardless of hair color you can wear something from all of them.

LOL the 100 Strokes shadow makes me giggle…it sounds like the title of a bondage book or something like that!! I would say that as a redhead I am not really into any of these colors…I tend towards the Blond collection. Which is funny because I am a dye redhead and a natural brunette…but I like the Blond colors most.

Ohh… I’m a redhead, and me likey these products 😉 I have kind of mid-tone copper hair, and I love wearing burgundies on my eyes, b/c they bring out the green in my eyes so well. So, maybe some of them clash with the hair a little, but I find with careful application and careful selection of shadows to go with the burgundy, I can get some really great looks… can’t wait to try these on in the store though.

PRETTY and can’t wait! When will they be released? I usually buy online…
Best shades in browpencils I have found are:

MAC in “Strut” and LORAC in “Auburn”

I have brilliant auburn hair with deeper cranberry lowlights and peachy highlights…these colors might be my defining moment,LOL!

Just wanted to mention that I believe the eye shadow shades “100 Strokes” and “French Cuff” are mislabeled here. I think “100 Strokes” is the pink frost shade, while “French Cuff” is a burgandy purple shade.

In regards to my previous comment, according to MAC’s press release on the collection, that is what they’re saying, but I’ve just been told that French Cuff is the lighter pink shade. So I guess I’d just wait to see the actual swatches in person or online before making your choice!

I think you do! When I ordered from the website yesterday, they showed French Cuff as the lighter pink shade. It still had the wrong description (had the description of 100 Strokes still), but the color seemed to be fixed. Phew!
