Chanel Cote d’Azur Collection

Debuting at the CHANEL Cruise Collection 2010 – 2011 fashion show in Saint Tropez on May 11th, Peter Philips, Global Creative Director of CHANEL Makeup, was inspired by the location to create a playful collection that flirts with the sun. “Effortless, natural beauty, relaxed girls who are enjoying their holidays. That was the main idea behind the look for this show. And we added a touch of playfulness by applying a pastel baby blue nail polish”, says Peter Philips.

In CHANEL COLLECTION CÔTE D’AZUR, lips are adorned with Rouge Coco Hydrating Crème Lip Colour in four soft, summery shades: Perlé, Chintz, Taffeta Rose and Sari Doré. The playful spirit is accentuated down to the fingertips with the pastel blue lacquer, Le Vernis Nail Colour in Riva.

I love Chanel! I think Rouge Coco lipstick is the best lipstick I’ve ever tried, it just lasts so much on my lips that I was so surprised when I first bought it…Teheran is an amazing shade!!!
Le Vernis nail colors are terrific as well, I’m never disappointed with them, besides the colors, which I love, I wear them for 5 days and the color is still great…I would love a huge sale!!!
BTW, I love this new collection, my choises are Chintz and Riva…but I know I’ll probably get more…

Wow! I’m definitely gonna buy that nail polish! I don’t think I’ve seen a colour like that before, it’s like a minty-greeny-light blue glimmer? I can’t wait ’til you have a review for this, Christine! (If you do.)

I ordered on Monday 15 min after it went up! I’ve never been into nail polish before but after getting my first Chanel np I keep buying more. My collection is still small though. And I was the type that said “I would never pay $23 for nail polish!” haha

Mine will be arriving next Tuesday, can’t wait! 🙂

just ordered the RIVA nail polish! sooo excited!! already have RC in chintz from fall collection…ladies as someone previously mentioned THERE IS NO SALES TAX OR SHIPPING FEES so get it while you can 🙂

UPDATE: I just ordered mine yesterday, and got mine in the mail today! 11/19

In the picture the nail polish with the lipsticks in it makes it look more turquoise, but the description does say its a light baby blue pastel nail polish which it does match up to that! It has both silver and blue shimmers in it!

I might be wrong but I think they are permanent or repromotes.. I have at least chintz and perle in my stash already and chintz I just bought a month ago… Please lemme know!

Hmm, I thought that these colours looked a lot different from the ones under those names that Chanel had out…and when I went to the website they are drastically different in pictures. Perle is a shimmering nude, Taffeta’s rose is more berry, Sari Dore is a very orangy coral, and Chintz is a nuetral pink. Are these pictures more or less accurate than the ones on chanel.com?

Hmm, this looks really different than the first pictures I saw, on the models. I don’t know, this isn’t incredibly unique while the previous pictures did make it look very original.

The colors seem to be way off in the promo pics to what swatches I looked up on the net that are available… Chanel should know better lol.

Chanel has Taffetas Rose, and Taffeta Rose now…Um are they one in the same? That’s confusing.

Hey Christine! I know these are only sold online and the colors look much different on the Chanel website I was wondering if you could do swatches or even veify which picture is closer in color
