Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Eyeshadow Quads Launch
The perfect matte. The perfect satin. The perfect match between colors and textures. Color crafting creates eye make-up with higher intensity. Eyes to Kill palette associates 2 pioneer formulas: an extraordinary matte with intense payoff that easily blends with an exceptionally luminous satin veil that morphs with every skin tone, for a crease-proof make-up that lasts for hours.
Real innovation in the formulation of a powder eyeshadow: an instant matte and intense formula that melds perfectly with a satin, pearly veil producing amplified light effects. Irresistible with its extremely soft, sensorial appeal, the eyeshadow arms the eyes with a flawless weapon all day long.
As essential in make-up as it is in fashion, the unparalleled strength of Giorgio Armani is to choose the right texture for each color. It gives color a substance that enhances it. Each finely crafted color is unique: always wearable, while retaining its own character. And each color flatters every skin tone and signs its style.
A palette of 4 harmonious colors instinctively follows the natural approach to eye make-up. From the light, luminous top of the eyelid to the saturated, deep lash line. Colors and textures mix and layer endlessly and glide on effortlessly for impeccable results.

Now that are some sexy looking palettes… 🙂
Terra sienna, Effecto nudo and Parma are calling out to me. Must. Resist. Until. I. See. Swatches!
I have Saharan Blush. It is heaven to use!
I guess this is more about formula than colour innovation.
As much as i adore Armani’s eyeshadow formula, the art history nerd in me is very disappointed. Claroscuro is the Spanish translation of the technique chiaroscuro, commonly credited to Italian artists.
…You are not alone. That was literally the FIRST thing I thought when I saw that. I may or may not have sworn out loud. Under my breath, yes, but out loud nonetheless. Overreaction, perhaps, but come ON. They should know better, and when in doubt, all it takes is a simple google search.
CHIAROscuro, NOT claroscuro… Grar. I AM ART HISTORY MAJOR, HEAR ME ROAR!
HOORAY!!! I was puzzled when I saw this, because I remembered it being “chiaroscuro” from art class. I probably won’t hold it against them, though. These palettes look quite tempting, particularly Pantelleria.
Oooh, drooling at #2. A bit pricey, but I need a nice compact of warm matte neutrals.
Although the colour gradation looks pretty, I would prefer to have a larger pan of the highlight and a smaller sized pan of the darker lid colour. I could see myself running out of the lightest shade quickly in all of these, which then renders the palette less useful for travel or as a one-and-done palette. Maybe it’s just because I’m fair skinned? I have to use a lighter hand with darker colours. These are so beautiful, though. Luxury palettes are the hardest the resist…
I can’t wait to go to Nordstrom and swatch these for myself! I’m such a sucker for this brand.
The Beauty Look Book has swatches and pictures of two of these but I forget which two. They look nice, but I’ll stick to the Burberry quads 🙂 (Picked up my first one today *g*)
I don’t understand…..launch? My Nordstrom’s had these in stock for about 1 – 2 months already. I have 3 of them (boudoir, effeto nudo and terra sienna. They all are heavily pigmented, soft, blend well, stay on forever — they’re really nice! The choices of colors and how they work together is so well thought out. I’m really enjoying mine.
Maybe it’s just me but I just don’t “get” the Armani brand of cosmetics. The majority of their items are pretty boring or standard items and are extremely overpriced and these eyeshadow quads are no exception. I suppose it’s about brand loyalty but I’ll definitely pass on these, and probably anything else to come out of Armani in the future.
I have both eyes on 06 Boudoir.
Ohhhhhhhhhhh, grey!!!! *whimpers*
I’d decided that I wasn’t going to buy any more eye shadows for at least 6 months. But, dammit, grey. And all greys en plus! *hits head against desk* Temptalia is a minion of the devil sometimes. ;p I better go read some perfume reviews to distract myself.
