Really happy the eye palettes are permanent. Are you going to do reviews, Christine?
That’s one of the best things about Burberry Beauty, they don’t do limited editions, only one or two a season and I think it’s the first time they’ve included two LEs in one collection. I hope they stay that way.
the shadow palettes look GORGEOUS (wish they were combinations of the already released popular shades like Rosewood, Trench, etc., and maybe they are, but in smaller pans and in an assortment). The price is a bit shocking (bearing in mind that these will be considerably more expensive in Canada which is nuts in light of the Canadian dollar!)
The price difference isn’t too bad. $64 in Canada. And you get 5.4g of product. Their singles are $33 and you get 2.5g of product. So while it’s almost double the price for the quad, it’s also more than double the quantity but you get 4 colours instead of 2.
I really like the look of the palettes and the color combos! If their quality is as good as the other Burberry eyeshadows I’m definitely planning on getting a couple! Christine, will you be reviewing any of these?
Do you know how much product comes in one of the quads? Thanks!
Amazing quality e/s. I have 06 and 07 but find myself using the products individually with other shadows rather than as a look. I find many of these shades are perfect midtones for me.
The muted colors of Burberry just don’t appeal to me at all.
Would pink taupe or plum pink be more visible on nc44 skin? These look like just the perfect xmas gift for myself 🙂
Vintage Gold l/g looks nice… I’m still not sure about the eyeshadow quads. I really like Burberry eyeshadows, but somehow, I don’t feel very attracted to the quads. Anyway, I guess I will have to see them in real life to decide. Thanks a lot for sharing!!!
so glad they finally have palettes!! i love burberry shadows, but hate buying singles that take up space and that i will never finish. one palette is the price of two shadows which sounds good to me
I have one quad (Pink Taupe) and am planning on buying more, and I picked up the Vintage Gold lipgloss on a whim – it’s really nice, and a change from the usual gold shimmer/sparkle you see around the holidays. More of a bronzy-brown-gold shimmer, but plenty of sparkle, and I think it’d be good either alone or layered over another lipstick. I’d like to get the beauty charm but I don’t know if I want to spend *that* much on it!
When I saw this late last night, my first thought was: “I bet BlueRacoon collapses into a whimpering, flaying, moaning ball of lust. I hope she survives.” *grin* But trust you to not only *know* about it from ahead of time, but to have already BOUGHT stuff from the collection! LOL. I adore you, girl.
LOLOL! How the hell are you, chica? Did you get your computer fixed? Email me, I miss you!
And yes, I stopped by my local Burberry counter and picked up a quad and the gloss, and I’m going back for more quads – I want Plum Pink and possibly Smoky Gray or something. So, so lovely. I thought about Pale Nude but seeing it in person, it’s *really* pale and I don’t know if it’s worth it.
I actually liked the charm lol, that lipgloss looks nice aswell. If only we had Burberry here 🙁 .
Never tried Burberry before but those quads look just amazing. Toronto just has one location that sells Burberry and not that close to me. I might just have to drag myself there and see these in person.
*siiiiiiigh* Look at those quads. I am loving the look of that grey and blue toned one. I might have to splurge after the holidays are over.
Oh my, some of the palettes look gorgeous! Christine, I know you’ve reviews some single shadows, but do you know anything about Burberry’s palettes? This release really has me interested in trying them out, thank you!
