Urban Decay Naked3 Eyeshadow Palette
Urban Decay’s Naked3 Eyeshadow Palette now has an official online launch date of December 6th, 2013 for retailers (U.S./Canada). The in-store launch date for Sephora is December 12th (U.S./Canada/Mexico). You can read my review and see comparison swatches. The official information regarding this palette can be found here. This date has been confirmed via Urban Decay through their Facebook page. Urban Decay is currently listing December 16th for Europe, December 20th for UK. February 2014 for Brazil.

Thanks so much for posting the date for the instore release. I’m so happy I finally have a real answer. For the last few days I’ve been hearing rumors that it was the 12th, 15th or the 16th. And yesterday a Sephora employee told me it was the 11th. But I don’t know. She seemed kind of annoyed I asked her even though I did it nicely. But alas! I now have a correct date! Again thank you! 🙂
Any idea if the release dates are the same in Canada? The people fulfilling my Xmas list wishes would like to know 🙂

I’ve never wanted an eyeshadow palette so badly. I’m literally counting the minutes until I can get my grubby little hands on this. I like the Naked palettes, but this one is totally suited to my skin tone.

Sephora’s Black Friday deals were up at midnight, EST. Hopefully it’s the same case with this. I’ve got my cart loaded with samples and my discount code, all ready to pop this in and check out!

1:00am Central Time on 12/6. I just happened to be awake and quickly jumped to Sephora. There it is — on the front page! I got mines!

Hmmm, I called my Ulta this morning and spoke to the manager who said she had just received an email stating that the inshore release date for Naked 3 is December 12th. Is the December 6th date you are referring to the online date or the instore date???

FYI: Called Sephora this morning to confirm that we could order it tonight after midnight and the rep said she had no information on release date. Also, spoke to a cast member at my local store who said they are having a party after closing on December 11th and people will be lined up to get it. My store is only getting 200 units. Hoping I can get online tonight at midnight and order it especially b/c I have a coupon for $20 off at Sephora. Good luck to everyone!

I hated this palette….LOL i ordered it from UD.com and returned it ….Terrible quality compared to the first two palettes…the shadows were not at all as buttery or blendable…I wonder if the poor quality has to do with the recent buyout by L’oreal
First of L’Oréal has some amazing shadows, particularly the single shades (not just the Infallibles. Second, just because L’Oréal bought them, doesn’t mean they aren’t independently operated by the same group that handled it previously. Besides, L’Oréal owns *many* HE/Luxe brands, and they are great, too. I also find Vice 2 better in quality than the original, and that was *prior* to the official buyout (which, BTW, was less than a year ago, and I’m quite certain Naked 3 was in the planning stage waaay before).
I absolutely love the original Naked palette and I love Naked2 even more! But lately, I’ve purchased several other really amazing palettes and I’m not sure if I’m wowed enough to get this one, at least not in the first frenzy of “newness” so while I may well buy it, I won’t be in a hurry to do so…
I felt exactly the same until I got my $20 gift card from Sephora. Now I want it for $32. Lol.

VIB or VIBR status. Beauty Insiders just receive $15 off $50 min. purchase and that would’ve came as an email. The $20 off was mailed out.

I called Sephora and they confirmed that I am VIB Rouge but had no idea why I didn’t get the $20 off card in the mail nor in email. I am quite annoyed as I never received any communication/coupon about the 20% off offered in November either. They told me they would, “check into it”. Is anyone else having this problem?
I’m sorry you have to go through that. I hope Sephora will sort it out for you soon. I’ve heard of others having the same issue. Sephora always messes up things like this, though. I’m not surprised that people didn’t get them, unfortunately.
For someone who doesn’t own Naked 1 or 2 (ME) I’m having a hard time deciding whether I want to buy the 3, or one of the older ones, or just skip this line total. I already have plenty of other palettes but the beauty addict in me is telling me to buy one especially with the $20 Sephora giftcard/coupon… decisions decisions!

haha i actually commented on your facebook post the other day saying how i was waiiiting for mine to arrive since i ordered it right when it went on sale, and it came not long after! i’m loving it so far. blackheart is awesome. i’ve been using the color tattoo in inked in pink as a base and my makeup has been staying all day! such gorgeous colors!
Some select stores will be selling the Naked 3 on the 11th after 9pm as a kind of party. If the store is not planning on being open the extra 9-10pm, it will be available the morning of the 12th. Please call your local Sephora and check if they will be having a release party the night of the 11th if you are interested since not all stores will be participating. The release date should be the same for Canada, US, and Sephora inside JCPenney markets. Enjoy!!! =D

As much as I hate 2 admit this, I’m not as pleased w/this palette as I was w/the first 2. Snatched it off UD’s website the first day it went on sale & so I’ve had time 2 play w/it a bit. It’s OK, but not near what I was hoping it would b. Just thought I’d throw that out there incase it helps anyone. Still love the Naked, Naked2 & esp Naked Basics palettes tho. 🙂
All the excitement around this release had me reaching for the first Naked palette. And I’m falling in love with it all over again. My fave palette from UD without a doubt. 🙂

I got it! I suddenly saw it on the website a few minutes before 10 pm local time and I snagged it for $32 with my $20 rewards card!!!!
For some reason my 20.00 off coupon wasn’t working
so I had to forgo it. I kept punching the code in
and it wasn’t registering so I paid full price.
Guess i’ll have to take the card in store.

Me too! The funny thing is, I was more than willing to pay full-price directly from UD, but since they’re playing the “hype” game, they’re losing out on the extra profit, as I’m quite certain I’m not the only one. I wonder if someone at UD realizes this mow, and is kicking themself…?
Totally agree with you! UD knew about the demand and for marketing purposes only, they are holding back product availabilty. This is just ridiculous!…

so had to ask a frnd to use their debit card instead 😀
but i did managed to get 10 % off on this , and used my egift card
i was little annoyed with sephora , there was only one option of using egift card

It wouldn’t let me use two gift cards either. Next time call their help line. The nice woman I spoke to did the order on the phone and applied both types of gift cards.
I got on Sephora and was able to order one at 4:30 this morning! And apply the BI holiday gift card to the purchase, too! I’d already missed the original and the “back in stock” that was up for a nanosecond on the UD site, so I was very happy to get an order placed today. Now waiting till it shows up but Sephora is usually pretty quick with delivery, too.
I ordered mine at midnight EST and used my VIB coupon. $42 Canadian is a great price for 12 shadows – can’t wait to get it!

But the naked palette did fall under the $50 free shipping minimum – I got mine for $40 and didn’t have to add anything extra – so I’m confused???
