ColourPop Good Energy Blush Review & Swatches
Good Energy
ColourPop Good Energy Pressed Powder Blush ($12.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a light, pinky-peach with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. It didn’t swatch well, but it applied so much better, which is typical of my experience with this blush formula (so weird).
- Semi-sheer to medium, buildable coverage (as marketed)
- Silky-smooth, lightly powdery in the pan
- Picked up well with brush, applied evenly, blended out nicely
- Long-wearing (8 hours)

Formula Overview
$12.00/0.28 oz. - $42.86 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to go on "smoothly" and have a "natural and healthy flush" that has "long wear" and "can be layered to your desired intensity." It is a lightly to moderately powdery powder blush with semi-sheer to semi-opaque, buildable color payoff. The consistency has a drier, thinner feel and though it feels silky to the touch, I found it the type of powder blush can be tricky to blend out evenly on the skin, depending on one's skin type or base preferences. The drier the skin/base, the better the formula would blend, but any natural oils or slip caused the blush to go on unevenly and was difficult to blend out. The wear was between seven and eight hours on me on average.

Wow! Beautiful color on you! Very springy and brightening effect.
I like this kind of peachy blush for smoky black eyeshadow and washed out lipstick
I don’t know how old you are but this visual of a smoked out black eye and pale lipstick with a peachy blush gives me Twiggy vibes!
Very pretty on you Christine. I think it would work for me also as it is light enough but would need to try and see how my weird undertone would handle it. It doesn’t pull very “orange” which is why I think it might work.
Likely too light a shade for me, but it sure does appear a thousand times better applied to the cheeks than arm swatches would indicate!
