Ellie Goulding, so hot in 2013. I do like these colors but they’re MAC so… probably won’t buy them.
I dont really like shopping at Mac anymore. Like everytime I go to their store there’s always someone with an attitude (which is absolutely ridiculous, if we’re paying money at their store they should be nice to us.) And there are so many other brands with better formulas and better execution of a collection. Mac doesnt even seem to be eager to listen to what our feedback is to them they just keep bursting out collections that 9/10 no one is really excited about. And when someone ever comes out and complains about Mac customer service they just respond with “Oh are you sure it wasn’t just a miscommunication issue?” instead of trying to apologize. Its really annoying. We are the ones buying their products so we shouldnt be treated like we’re the bad guys.

Uh, I’m seeing a lot of natural-looking colors here (kind of boring but very business office-friendly) , but I’m not seeing the “breathtaking bombshell by night ” colors here. Are we missing promo pics, or did PR get this collection mixed up with the Magic of the Night collection?
Yes exactly! When I read “breathtaking bombshell by night” I had to look twice. That must’ve been a mistake.
That would be funny. MAC is cranking out so many collections, even their PR department can’t keep track of them, and gets them all mixed up!
Pretty collection, but after buying Tartelette in Bloom and the Gwen Stefani palette, I’m neutraled out at the moment.

It may lean neutral, but something about this is screaming to me; that this is THE ONE. I have to get Explosion Plushglass, Without Your Love lipstick sounds like one heck of a combo! Possibly the Halcyon Nights, once we get a peek!

My prediction: the reviews will be lackluster on everything but the lipsticks, which will sell out in approximately 3 minutes, along with that LE 217.
A more personal gripe, but one that isn’t too uncommon I gather, is that I really don’t like those “all-in-one” palettes. They are usually bulky and rarely contain everything I need to create a look. I also always find that at least one of the shades is a total dud, which makes it worse.

Those blushes look lovely. Not too sure about the eye shadows.
I am little disappointed that the lipsticks are cremesheens not my favorite by Mac. I will proably pick up a lipgloss,lip pencil, and the blush bronzer. Hopefully they perform well. I have been holding out for this collab. The eyeshadow quads look pretty but I’m concerned about the pigmentation.
I love Ellie Goulding and lipstick! So I have to buy them.
It all looks really pretty, and I’m a big fan of Ellie. But I know those shades and finishes won’t be flattering on me.
My first ever MAC purchase, postponed again!
I’m interested to see the swatches and read the reviews. I’m hoping the eye shadow/ blush combo gets a thumbs up. I’ll certainly look at the lip products.
