Wow, I know I’m not into liquid lipsticks anymore but if the nudes rate well, I might have to pick one up! (:
I’m excited for the formula, I just hope it done well because they have a lot competition with independent brands.
The shades I’m curious about are Divine-Divine, Mademoiselle Bright, Back in Vogue, and Rich & Restless.
It’s also worth noting at the $24CAN price tag is the same for Kat Von D and Tarte so I has to be good to compete with those brands for me.
I’m not sure what to think about these liquid lip colors. I like the prolongwear but rely on the gloss end as I find them drying. (I like Chanel’s version a little more as I can tolerate the drying feel longer if I forget to put on the lip gloss.)
I’m surprised it’s taken them this long to jump on the bandwagon with these! The colors are beautiful; fingers crossed that they work well.

I feel like MAC is a little late to the liquid lipstick party but I’m really interested to see how drying these are.. I’m kinda over this “trend” tbh but I like the packaging so I might be tricked into buying one since the colors look very wearable.
Mac is a little late to the game with these, but I am intrigued.

Do you have the ingredients list? I am not loving Mac since October. I had a reaction to there mattene lipstick, almost needed to use my Epi pen. They changed the formula and there are nuts in the ingredients. There is not a word on the list that looks like a nut and consumer care refuses to share the word and said “why don’t you buy somewhere else” I have tried callibg them again for list of ingredients and they have said there policies have changed!
Are you serious! You could have a lawsuit there! Nuts in products should be 100% labeled and the FDA should know. It goes beyond bad customer service to an actual deficit of decent human character to act that way towards you. Unbelievable! So sorry you experienced that!
Love the classic MAC bullet packaging! Great shade range. This should do well. All that, and P. Not their usual approach, and I like it.
I really like the ad campaign on this and the fact that they are permanent. The SA that I work with at my local MAC told me about these a while ago. She said MAC had been working on them for some time. I’m anxious to see how these pan out in the reviews. I’m not huge on liquid lipsticks because of the dryness issue. But, it would be really nice to have a long wearing matte lipstick that doesn’t suck the life out of my lips!
I like the promo pic, really captures retro glamour, but it doesn’t look like there’s a lot of product there for $24, and every brand ( Maybelline, Revlon, L’Oreal) is coming out with their liquid lipsticks for less. But at least these look really matte, for those who like that finish

Well, it has happened; MAC has jumped onto the liquid matte lipstick trend. Here’s hoping that they’ve done a good job, and have given us something great!
I hear the nudes are rough in this collection. The reds and dark pinks look like winners though.

I agree with others that MAC is really late to the game on the liquid lipstick trend. I have already found my staples in Dose of Colors, Kat Von D, and Jeffree Starr – Plus these liquid lipsticks are super drying no matter which brands you try it’s just some are less drying than others so MAC not only has to step the game up but they need something more than a dildo-esque tube to be a standout in the market and if their lipsticks lack of long wear is any indication to what to expect from these then I will pass. I was hoping to see a early review from you because if I do purchase one, it will be strictly for “It’s new and I want one”.
I got this in feels so grand. I love the deep true red color as it brings out my blue eyes but it’s disappointing cause it’s formulated the same as stila’s liquid lipstick, cause if I put a lot on it crumbles and flakes off.. And it takes longer to dry than Kat von Ds liquid lipstick. Kat von D still reigns supreme in the liquid lipstick category. I got it today and I’m still wearing it so the crumbling is the only con I’m experiencing as of yet
I purchased one in the color High Drama and as expected the formula is horrible and just as you explained; super drying and clumps, just like Stila’s. I am so disappointed bcus i was hoping for a good light formula but it’s super drying on me. Left definitive inner lip lines so when my Lips were closed, you could see the lack of lipstick in between my lips. Ugh. I habe Bh Cosmetics which is waaaaaasy better than this. The one I have is going back.. I’d rather exchange for a lipstick.
Price of the liquid lipstick in India
