As I was doing my morning stalking across retails for new products, I saw that Saks has all of the items from the Estee Lauder x Victoria Beckham Collection available for pre-order. (Swatches are here.) I don’t normally make multiple availability announcements, except when collections are selling out, which this one is (at least, some of the items).

Thank you for the update, Christine. I’ve been wanting to add a new highlighter to my collection and this one would fit perfectly. I went to Neiman’s online (or maybe it was Bergdorf’s) on Friday and they were already sold out. Selfridges had it, but it was $30 shipping to the U.S. I just ordered mine from Saks and will see it by Halloween!

What do you think out of the whole collection is or are a must, Christine?
I think the highlighter is the least overpriced (even though it is definitely bumped up just for the packaging/collaboration) relative to the cost of high-end highlighters, and it’s excellent across the board. I think it’s very forgiving and easy to use, so long as you like more than just super subtle highlighters, though.
The eyeshadow palette would be my next pick, but it is $95, which it is expensive, so you’d have to love and use all the shades. The single eyeshadows are nice but at $45, again, you have to commit and love the shades. They are glittery, and they’ll likely need a primer for most (it’s one of those more metallic/foiled, lightly emollient formulas) but are pretty on. The bronzer is nice, and I think the undertone that goes through will work on more skin tones, but bronzer can be had for less in similar quality levels, IMO.
Lipgloss smells like fig and is pretty tacky, plus the brush-type of applicator isn’t my favorite – nothing special there. The lipsticks are similar, though vanilla scented, and aren’t interesting/inspiring to me, so I would skip as you can get quality lipsticks, even from EL, for less.
Yeah, I wanted the eye palette but wouldn’t be using all the shades, so will go with the highlighter only.

I really have no idea. I saw the date being later and wondered the same, but Saks hasn’t released anything at all yet, and they are slated to release October 1st per Estee Lauder (along with Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, NETAPORTER).
I ordered the highlighter from Selfridges. The shipping charges are worth it.

Stores are listed as “select” locations, so that could mean their flagship stores or could be a wider array… no idea – your best is to call the store you were considering going to!
Is this collection coming to other stores like Nordstrom, Sephora, or Macy’s?
Not really a fan of Saks since I had some trouble with their CS in the past.. 🙁
Nordstrom and NET-A-PORTER are supposed to have it, but Sephora/Macy’s is not on the press release. Neiman Marcus released partially but not wholly, and I’m not certain if they added products too soon or not, so depending on what you were looking for, that might be another retailer to use.

I have Modern Mercury highlighter on pre-order! Can’t wait to get my hands on it. So far, nothing from the fall/holiday collections is really calling me (other than ColourPop, but it’s cheap), so this might be my holiday splurge 🙂 They need to make it permanent

Christine, I wasn’t able to ask in your original review of this, but do you think this shade of highlighter (highlighter blush for fairer people) would work with a cooler complexion (NW20) that has some areas of rosacea? Or would it clash with the coolness and/or make the rosacea appear more prominent?
I don’t think it would, I am a bit pinkish (I’d say more pink than truly red) and did not find this turned super pink/warm as a result (some pinks/corals can do that).

I saw this on your IG this morning and I was so mad at myself for being 5 days too late in seeing your post but right away I went to Saks checking to see if they would have it so I put in a pre-order just in case. For 2 highlighters and the eye palette. Then this morning, when I checked your blog, you had written about it. I got excited because I got to pre-order before you posted like I was reading your mind lol! Amazing reviews for this. I’d rather have this than the other mass made Holiday palettes. I was waiting for something unique to get this holiday. Thanks again!

I think it is nice! I think you can get just as nice bronzers for less than the price, but if you’re a big fan of bronzer, you get a ton of product and the quality is great 🙂

Yes sorry I had a one-product mind there. Yes, the highlighter. I’ll wait for it to land at Nordstrom’s since there’s a risk it would be all wrong anyway.

I followed this post to Saks to pre-order 5 pieces from this collection. Everything was supposed to ship yesterday, but the order status has not changed, so I called them. They are apparently “trying to negotiate for more stock.” Needless to say, I had my heart set on these pieces, and now after weeks of waiting for them, nearly everything is sold out at other retailers. I will never order from Saks again. They don’t seem to understand the concept of a “pre-order” and were hardly apologetic that they overbooked the orders.
