I’m actually surprised this didn’t cost more with the blue squirrel hair. This came to $40USD with tax and duty but relative cheaper than some of his brushes. Wasn’t going to go for it but placed an order because of the samples they passed out, the reviews have been good.

(Want to beat this becomes permanent in 2 years time to?)

Mentioned the few I use below with reply to kjh. I have hooded lids as well. Aging thang.. skin fold over crease. I find I need precision brushes, but still soft enough not to crease hash lines, to deal with issue. Everyone’s hoods are different though which can change things up considerably with brush selection.

Which ones can you rec? I love WG, my fantasy son. Only have 2 WG brushes, bec I always order double, for bff and self. Gets expensive. Know she’s pretty committed to vegan brushes, so maybe I can sneak some independently. She lives an hour away. Hand rubbing and gleeful plotting. Btw, did not win the naming contest. Booooo!

I recommend all of them, lol! Seriously though, you can’t go wrong with any of the eye brushes. I use 03, 04, 06, 08, 17, 18, 19 and 23 on a regular basis. For face brushes I love 02, 11, 12, and 13.

I have two WG pencil style brushes which I use for outer corner, lower lashline, and crease work (I have to be super precise on my crease placement due to skin folding over my actual crease).
#05 a small pencil brush and the smaller of the two with finer slightly stiffer point. Great for precision on lower lash line and placing shadow in 7 shape at corner of eye.
#20 a medium sized pencil brush a titch softer gives a softer shadow placement but in a fairly precise area. Crease work typically for me. Lower lashline for smudgier smokier type look.
I also have the traditional type tapered crease brush #04. I use this to diffuse up the shadows I placed with #5 and #20.
That help? Wayner is a darling; very earnest and has a great sense of humour. I feel for him when he takes all the negativity on youtube to heart. Not a great place for sensitive humanitarian type people. Easier place for egomaniac narcissists don’t care can’t hear the bad noise I’m effin’ great people. Sort laugh.

Wayne is cool and well loved. Last week I brought WG Eye Set and #02 brush.During the Beautylish Gift Card event. Beautylish really did a great job with packaging! Neat and elegant. So far they are really nice. Maybe I’ll use my $40 gift cards to buy this brush to add to my new collection. I also brought the Benjabelle Sunflower Brush Tree. I’m sure I’ll be ordering from Beautylish again.

My first WG brush was his fan brush #15. I adore this brush and use it for blush, highlighter, bronzer, even for t-zone powder in a pinch or travellng. I use #02 regularly to set under eye concealer – even used it to apply all products in Tom Ford’s Afternooner palette just to see how it would do. It did great! Again, another multi-purpose brush. I use #13 as a true buffing brush with finishing powder. I love 00/Holiday Brush to apply bronzer (the tip allows for blush and highlighter in a pinch). I ordered 2 of this new brush due to its subtle/buildable application of complexion products and designed for buffing technique.

My recommendations for someone new to the line: fan brush #15, brush #02, and the Air-Brush (based on what I’ve seen). I’ll leave others to comment on the eye brushes.

I was (pleasantly) surprised by the price point too. However, I think this brush is going to be a lot smaller than people think. I am expecting something close in size to the 02 brush, and that one also retails for $35.

ordered it at once as soon as i see the price, needed a small brush to apply under eye powder and a nose bridge highlighter. will be a nice one to carry around to touch up powder foundation too. love how soft his brushes are. also cheaper than the suqqu ones.

I don’t own any of Wayne Goss brushes but I did just order this one. I think it will be great as a highlighter brush also for blush and blending. I think it being a Wayne Goss brush and blue squirrel at 35. that is a good price. Hopefully it doesn’t shed and washes well.

I was torn about whether or not to order this, then realized I probably wouldn’t regret buying it but might regret not buying it. I’ve loved every WG brush I’ve received so I’ll probably love this one, too.

I ordered 2 right away. I almost wear out my multitasking brushes and I love the emphasis on cheek products blending into one and subtle bronzing. Can’t wait to see how it performs.

I love Wayne’s brushes. They are extremely high quality, do not shed or bleed. My favorites are the #2, #14 , the holiday brush( now 00) and the large eye sweep. I ordered the new one immediately because I truly expected the price to be higher. I certainly don’t need it….. But, I’m a junkie when it comes to beautiful brushes. My only regret was last Holiday brush which was $120? Crazy, unnecessary purchase. I don’t use it much.

Can anyone tell me if this brush is a dupe for the Chikuhodo x Beautylish Sakura collection cheek brush? I know that brush is grey and this is blue squirrel but that brush is suuuuper soft. Trying to talk myself out of the Air-Brush if size and shape and density is similar to the Sakura cheek brush (which I own and love).

Lorrin Avatar

I was literally wondering the same thing. I almost talked myself out of it since I have the Sakura cheek brush, but ultimately I figured I would regret not getting it. I’m wondering if this one has longer bristles; the brush itself looks longer so we shall see!

Got this on the first go round and use it constantly. It was too soft to start up the summer DI cheek palette, but now that it is going: fine. I mentioned that it was back in a comment, while the b’lish coupon promo was on, almost got a second, but trying to pare down the extravagance, and it self cleans so well. If you scored a couple of b’lish coupons, this would be a great choice. Free air brush? No brainer. Really liking 14, the odd long bristle, too, for blending/drawing out eyes or highlighter. Go, Wayne. Reminds me of the tag line for old NEC stereo components: we make the high end affordable. Good products, good price points.

This is probably my favourite WG brush and I own both the eye and anniversary sets. I got one out of curiosity the first time it launched then bought another two this time so I could halve one for blush, one for highlight and one for bronzer. An amazing brush for any powder products. I use it more than my Suquu cheek!

I really love my Air-Brush it is extremely soft!!It is the only brush from Wayne Goss that I have.I want to purchase many more!!I really enjoy his Utube videos.Great Quality!

Just bought it!! Cannot wait to receive it, it’s my first WG brush purchase, remember missing out the last time it came out! Could be a start to a very expensive journey… but this is priced very reasonably! Want to try his eye blending brushes and fan brush next probably.
