We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Curious as to what brushes will be included in this set. Don’t have any Chikuhodo in my collection. Would have purchased the Sakura 2016 set but didn’t care for the white bristles against the red.

OMG, the handles alone! Channels Hokusai. Don’t always like the brush choices in these sets, but….. THE HANDLES. Ukiyo-E (sp?) revisited. I’m totally smitten.

Hi Alison,

I’m sorry, but this is the only information I have, which is why I also included the last two sets (for an idea of what they often look like and approximate cost). It wasn’t intended to be insult – this is all that they’ve revealed thus far, and I know that the sets can sometimes go quickly. Usually, Beautylish provides sneak peeks and provides more information closer to the launch date.

Oh my goodness, Christine– I’m so sorry. I was wondering about the lack of information from the brand or Beautylish– not you! You are always the best and clearest source of information if you have it.

I guess I’m not really a fan of these kinds of teasers that brands do– guess what we have coming up next…!!!!

From my point of view there’s a whole heckuva lot of uncertainty of all sorts in today’s world. And when I turn towards beauty, I’m seeking a respite– not more guessing or wondering.

But that’s just me and for other people waiting in suspense as to what a cosmetic release might be is a big thrill.

Thanks for the heads-up! Those handles look so beautiful. I was wondering if there was going to be a beautylish X chikuodo set this year- I seem to think the sets were released in Nov in years past. Anyway- I’m very interested in this set, especially since I missed out on the Sonia set and the Wayne Goss holiday brush!
