Wayne Goss Holiday 2019 Brush Coming Soon!
Release Date + About the Launch
This year’s limited edition, just-for-the-holidays brush has been announced! For the holiday season, Wayne Goss’ holiday brush is a large, luxurious fan brush with greater splay than a traditional fan brush. It is designed to work as an all-around brush for application and blending of a slew of powder products, like bronzer, highlighter, blush, contour, or even with finishing products.
You can sign-up for early access here. The brush is priced at $62.
I have only two fan brushes and I have very specific tasks for both. One is a small fan by Sonia G which I use for heavy duty h/l products to softly feather the application. The other is an ancient fan brush from a Sephora collection I bought eons ago. I use it for helping with e/s fallout because I always put my base on first and I cannot bake under my aging eyes like the you-tubers do. I’m thinking this could be an excellent replacement.. especially if it is very soft.
I also have the small SoniaG brush, Wednesday – love it for precise highlighter application. I love the video Wayne released for this brush. Looks like it has a bunch of uses so if I can get a hold of this, it will be my first proper fan brush.
Hey Valerie.. Thanks for heads up on the post for Wayne’s brush. I’m loving that eye outer corner suggestion. Hooded eyes here, so I like extending my outer corner for a bit of drama, but I really have to carefully blend or it looks like someone socked me in the eye. ?
And happy ‘first proper fan brush’ to you, Valerie. Didn’t ever think I’d use, let alone like, fan brushes as much as I do. I now have a small collection in all sizes, both natural and synthetic. I’ve found dozens of ways to use them, everything from dusting off eyeshadow fallout to applying finishing powder. Hope you love your new WG.
Thank you Anne! Glad you got one, Wednesday. I got it after their glitch. Amazing that one brush can shut down the whole site!
Right? ??
Oooooh! As someone who likes to “press” setting powder into my face with the side of a brush (rather than using swiping or dusting motions), this looks PERFECT for that.
I have been using a fan brush to apply blush lately because I generally want a very light application (rosacea is my primer). I suspect that this brush will pick up more color than I want and I should stick to my inexpensive Sonia Kashuk. Will you be reviewing it?
While it looks lovely, I rarely use my other Wayne Goss or Sonia G. fan brushes. My wallet is safe this year.
I LOVE fan brushes! I use Sonia G Sculpt 3 for highlighting and Sculpt 4 for contour. I use daily Wayne’s last two holiday brushes, can’t wait to add this one to my routine.
Would it be possible for you to compare this WG brush to the Sonia G. fan brushes? Since you’re incredibly busy during the holidays, a literal side-by-side picture comparison would be enough. Anyways thank you again for all you do. Hope you’re having a great holiday season!!
This looks a little too long to be useful to me. I have about ten different fan brushes and I find the thinner, longer ones (much like this new one) tend to throw product around more than place it. They also fail to really “burnish” the product in compared to shorter, denser cousins. I could only find a use in this for all over powder and I have tools more suited for that anyway.
I have the same feeling. I already have in my collection the MAC 135 and MAC 137 (not fan shaped) brushes which I purchased specifically for lighter application, but I realized that the bristles are too long to be useful to me (and how I apply make-up); and the Wayne Goss brush I thing it’s even longer.
Cannot gain access to Beautylish page for the brush..keep getting internal error
got through..think I nabbed it? Have order confirm.
Happy to have ordered one. Looking forward to this beautiful brush from Wayne Goss.
Am I the only one not feeling the white handle?
nope! you’re not the only one. i’m skipping it besides i have all of Sonia G’s fan brushes.
OMG i dont know why but I HAD to have this one!
I do love these SE brushes from Wayne Goss but not always able to afford them or actually don’t need the particular brush. This one is most interesting though.
Spectacular brush. I don’t have anything like it in my collection. I got a backup. Might even use it concurrently.
This brush is calling me. I need it to help me blend my face.
