I honestly doubt Huda can keep up with Pat McGrath’s gold. With that I’m sure I can pick random shades in my collection blindfolded and still have a better color story than whatever Huda is trying to show in the Gold Obsessions palette.

I don’t like the contrast of the pink tones with the bright yellow gold. I do like the first four (left to right) and could see those as a very pretty quad or for someone who is seriously into bright golds having the last three and that deep brown in a quad… but, for me, I don’t find them appealing all meshed together. I’ll be curious to see looks made with all of these shades and maybe I’m wrong and they do go perfectly together!

I completely agree. I have gold jewellery, and they all vary in depth and tone, so this is very much a gold palette to me. Plus, you can’t make a palette with just rich yellow golds and create a “complete” look or variety of looks, which is what Huda’s palettes always offer.

I actually really like this colour story, and I’m someone who hates gold eyeshadow. I love the pairing with pink. Too bad this isn’t her Italian eyeshadow formula. I’d be snatching it up right away.

I’m somewhat relieved to see this is a Cult Beauty exclusive since it will make it easier for me to pass. The Huda 9 pans have been mostly disappointing and I’ve never ordered from Cult.

I LOVE these colors… heavy on the lighter shades is right up my alley. But glancing at the ingredients on Cults website, it looks like there is PET in at least 2 of the shades. BOOOOO!!!

I like the look of this! So far I’ve managed to resist any Huda palettes but this one (assuming it pops up on Sephora NZ) might be coming home with me…)

I think this is really pretty! I’m interested in the neutrals in this palette, and the pinky shades. I can take or leave the gold shades (but I have enough gold in other palettes-thanks Pat!)

Have this palette and I´m so dissappointed in it. 3 Mattes perform well, 2 yellowish gold tones are nice, but all 4 rose golds which were actually the reason why I purchased this palette are so bad in quality. No colour pay-off even when applied with fingers, they all look the same on the lid and perform rather as some sort of toppers and not full eyeshadows.
