P.S. — Please keep in mind that Rouge Gs are sold as “refills” so that you’ll have to purchase a case ($37 each) if you want the full effect. They ship with a plastic cap that snaps on, and obviously they’re kept in boxes to be sold that way, so you don’t have to purchase a case for storage.

Wow “B”‘s such a surprise!
Yikes…based on those reviews I’m not sure these are finally going to be the version of Guerlain Rouge Gs that I indulge in. Dusty brown is probably the one of the lot that I could swing on my skin, but even then….I know it’s ridiculous, but I want a perfect nude from them to carry around in one of those gorgeous cases. But so many of their colors are old fashioned pink and that just doesn’t jive with my coloring and aesthetic. More browns please. More sandy caramel nudes.
If not for Guerlain’s crazy wear-time claim, then I’m guessing that these would have rated higher. Anywho, none made it onto my WL, as I feel stuck wearing either dry-down liquid lipstick or something nudie enough that a smudge wouldn’t be all that noticeable.
I was thinking of treating myself with one of these but not with Bs and Cs, that is very surprising to me but I guess it saved me some money.
I have a few of these on my WL.
Maybe I’ll splurge on one for my birthday.
That the highest grade is a B is a bit surprising, but I think Nancy nailed it, it’s the wear time claim from the brand dragging the grade down a lot.
I wouldn’t need a new case, O have two, but I probably want one as they are so pretty, a bit clumsy and heavy to carry around, but the mirror actually works for reapplying the lipstick and for a quick glance to see if it looks OK.
