I’ve never gravitated towards Laura Mercier’s lipsticks. I’d say it was surprising, but I’ve got this idea of the line being “old-fashioned” and seeing the pink and purple swatches I’d say that was an accurate feeling. They look creamy, but those aren’t colors I wear.
Those first two; chef’s kiss! Rose Vif, Violette and Rouge Electrique are my top 3 picks. All shades that I would enjoy wearing once life returns to “normal”.
There are some lovely lipsticks herre – mostly the reds that I like.
Some of these went to my WL, the top two and some others like a plum and a mauve that looks lovely.
I don’t have much makeup from LM, I’m not sure why. I have an old darker red lipstick and an eyeshadow palette and that’s it. I know I got the palette mostly for African Violet, I hope I got the name right. I should probably use the lipstick, it’s fine now, but I wonder how long it’ll last.
