Editor's Review

The Extra Dimension Blush formula is supposed to have “long-wearing colour with prismatic reflections” that wears for “10 hours.” The formula is typically very pigmented with a soft, smooth texture that’s firmer in the pan but not difficult to use–I had no issues grabbing color with even my softest brushes–and has no dustiness or powderiness in the pan. The blushes are usually blendable with a luminous glow on the cheeks that did not emphasize my skin’s natural texture. With MAC’s newly-added permanent shades, the wear time has ranged from eight to ten hours. Read More.

This is a lovely blush with a flattering glow. It's a pale pink that that light colour makes it almost impossible to "overdo" it or look clownish. I love a cheek product that imparts a bit of sheen to my face (long gone are the days when I was all about "matte everything") - and like all the ED blushes, this one does that beautifully. It's almost like a blush and highlighter in one!

It's just super pretty on my fair skin. Buildable, has a sheen but not too much. Perfect to give a nice healthy glow on the cheeks. And it lasts well too! A staple in my vanity since I got it in last August.

I theoretically love this blush, but for whatever reason, mine is super un-pigmented. My color is definitely more dusty rose than it appears here (and I like that difference), it just takes 2-3 layers to see anything. My highlighter is fine, and I ordered it directly from Belk online, but all I can think of is that it was quite cold out when it was sent and that effected the powder? It's quite sad because I love the color, I just wish it showed.

I wish this would come back, even if it was ina duo again I would still buy like 6 of them. For my skin tone it is the perfect peachy-pink for every day. It looks natural for day to day wear and doesn’t look powdery or accentuate texture on my cheeks. It gives me a great healthy looking glow.

This blush formula is magical when applied with a flat synthetic brush and THEN blended with a fluffy brush. It delivers all of its glow when you have sprayed your face with a Fix+ FIRST- it's almost like a highlighter when I do these steps, but also gives life and colour to the face, as a normal blush. I personally feel free to skip highlighter when I wear this. It wore for approximately 6-7 hours on my combination skin. Total love!

Oh my, oh my....this is my new favourite blush (among a whole bunch of "formerly favourite" blushes). I was waiting for my local MAC store to restock and was unsure whether to get this one or Wrapped Candy so tried one on each side of my face and Wrapped Candy turned surprisingly warm on me so the choice was an easy one. This blush is SO beautiful and natural looking on me and has the loveliest finish - not overly frosty or reflective but somewhat sheer and with a dewy looking sheen. I do plan to get 2 more of these (probably including Wrapped Candy, though I do have several dupes for that one, and certainly Into the Pink) but I think of all of the new releases, this was the best choice for me. I was planning on getting some of the Becca blushes but these from MAC are actually better colours for me and they're also a few bucks less costly so it's "win/win".

I bought the MAC Extra Dimension Blush in Blazing Haute and was impressed, so I bought Fiery impact. This is a pretty muted brick red colour on me which is very flattering and the finish of this blush is smooth. This is a beautiful staple blush for every day use with a hint of sparkle. As with Blazing Haute, it is a little stiff to get colour from the pan onto the brush but I didn't really find this to be a problem.

I really wanted to love this product but at the moment I just like it - I was expecting it to be highly pigmented but I actually found that you have to scrape a bit to get the colour onto the brush. On the skin though, the blush is easy to blend out. It is quite sheer too - but it might be because of the colour against my skin rather than the product itself. Its a great daily blush and I'll probably buy the other colours too.
